FloatBar privacy
Your browser connects to the websites you choose. Here is what FloatBar stores, what leaves your Mac, and what you can control.
What stays on your Mac
FloatBar stores preferences, saved websites, bookmarks, read-later entries, page groups, and optional window restoration information locally. Website cookies and storage are managed by macOS WebKit. Custom proxy passwords are stored in macOS Keychain.
Browsing and website connections
Opening a website sends requests to that website and the services it uses. Site icons may also be requested from the website or its icon URL. Searches go to your selected search engine. These providers can receive your IP address, browser information, and data you enter; their own privacy policies apply. A proxy you configure handles traffic according to its own policies.
History, private windows, and sessions
Browsing history is off by default. When enabled, it stores up to 1,000 entries for up to 30 days locally. Private windows use a separate temporary website session. Downloads and information you explicitly save can remain after a private window closes. Independent sessions separate website storage; they do not hide your IP address.
App telemetry and account requirements
FloatBar does not include an analytics or advertising SDK, and no Yuncedria account is needed to use the app. The app does not upload your browsing history or cookies to a Yuncedria browser backend. Websites opened inside it may use their own analytics or advertising.
Permissions, backups, and removal
Websites may request camera or microphone access; permissions are handled through the app and macOS. File access is limited to files you select. Exports include saved content and settings, so keep them somewhere you trust. Exports exclude website cookies and browsing history. Use the app’s privacy controls to clear browsing data; removing the app alone may leave local data behind.
Website downloads and support
This website and its downloads are served by Cloudflare, which processes normal request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. The company website privacy notice covers website use. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Please do not send passwords, cookies, or other login credentials.
